The RKS Fax doesn't work in Windows 10 because it's not compatible with this operating system. According to the system requirements, RKS Fax is compatible only with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista. There is nowhere specified about the compatibility with Windows 10. If you have the setup package, right click it and choose Properties > Compatibility. From the drop down menu, select Windows XP or Windows Vista then tick the Run as Administrator option.
These are the only solutions possible since the developer of the application is out of business.
I purchased RKS program several years ago. I also purchased a Zoom 56k USB modem series 1063. I've re-installed RKS Fax program and now get an error message:
THIS IS AN UNSUPPORTED VERSION OF WINDOWS, PRINTER WILL NOT BE INSTALLED.
RKS (version 1.50) was running on my Windows 7 64 bit & my new modem works with Windows Fax & Scan program. I like using RKS FAX, not Windows Fax.

According to information found on the Internet, the RKS Fax application is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista. There isn't anything related to 64bit support. I have checked it, but even the official website is discontinued. The only thing you can do is to re-install the software again. This time, make sure to choose Run as Administrator when install the program and each time you launch it. Also, right click the setup package and apply a compatibility tweak. Go to Properties > Compatibility and choose a Windows version close to the latest supported one (in this case Windows 7).
